Whenever I'm at certain flea markets or street fairs, I always pick up a few of their rum cakes. My kids love it.my husband loved their sweet potatoe pie and everyone that I share my cakes with loves it too. I just love the Caribbean Rum Cake and their Red Velvet is so good. It's been several years since I've written about the place that sells fantastic rum cakes, and I'm always tempted to buy one as I pass them in the Colonie Center Mall. OMG Found them at a kiosk in the Palisades and it has very quickly become a must have. Today, rum cakes have become Goodway Bakery’s signature product. While there, he developed a passion for Caribbean cuisine, namely rum cakes. Tortuga, known for the worlds best rum cakes and gourmet products, is a Caribbean-born brand that has made its way to a world-renowned brand that continues. Ran into Goodway Gourmet at a Street Fair in Hoboken, there was a line the entire time, so out of curiosity stopped by for a bite and bought the Chocolate Raspberry Rum Bundt cake immediately!. Goodway Bakery’s product line shifted about 10 years ago when their head baker traveled to the Caribbean islands. Met these lovely ladies at the Greenwood Lake Winter Fest 2022.
